Well I keep promising myself I'm going to blog a least some... So here we go.
I wanted to send out a thank you to Rey Bango for my new "got coldfusion?" T-Shirt that I won in his contest on www.gotcfm.com. I came in 4th by entering the 1004th site (www.hotelbook.com). It came in the mail today at work and I had the opportunity to be an ass for a little while and brag about it to my co-workers. Nathan Strutz (www.dopefly.com) seemed most jealous.

R.I.P. Alan Rother. Died August 31, 2007 by a jealous co-worker after he flaunted his new, red, "got coldfusion?" shirt for the one hundred eleventh time. His contributions to the I-Sites CMS will be sorely missed. Alan was survived by the members of the AZCFUG. Nathan Strutz, the jealous co-worker and CFUG member, now has 300,000 hours of community service to attempt upgrading the CMS publishing process.

Although now apparently deceased, Alan was about to make a bold fasion statement. Rarely do I feel that we see such haute couture in the I.T. world. I can understand how Alan's coworkers came alive with raging jealousy and saw fit to knock him off. Today is a sad day for what else might Alan imparted upon our world, flash socks, fuseboxers, Bluedragon dinner jackets, maybe a PHP tie? I for one am ready to dig up Alan's body to use a model for future fasion statements that simply must be made by someone as cool as he.
